Lincoln & His Room

I'm not sure if you know or not, but last September, my wife and I were blessed with a baby boy, that we named Lincoln. We're kind of private, so that's why you haven't really seen any photos of him. We had a really great theme for his or her room... before he was born, we decided not to find out what we were having (it was a surprise!) but we new what we wantetd the nursery to be like! Today it was featured on an amazing baby blog called Onto Baby. We love the feature! Thanks so much guys! Here's it on my blog! Enjoy!

Alli & Charles - Married... The Powell Crosley Estate

Alli & Charles might be the up there with funnest clients that I've had the pleasure to work with! Their lives aren't really like anyone that I have known. They're YouTube celebrities! They're a vloggers (video blogging) and it's called Internet Killed Television or CTFxC. The've been vlogging they're lives for about 2 1/2 years, everyday! The other day they hit their 1000 straight day of vlogging. If you haven't heard of them, you NEED to check them out, they're hilarious! I'm so thankful that i got to document your guy's day! Courtney & Michael - Day After Session

I was so excited to finally get to do Courtney and Michael's day after session! We have been talking about getting around to it since, um... they're wedding back in March. Life changes when you get married and life gets in the way of life. You might remember They're engagement session here or wedding here... Courtney's hair has darkened a little, and this session is a perfect example why it's never too late to get back in you're dress!

This year has been nothing short of amazing!I have one wedding left on the 30th, but other than that, it's a wrap! It's been a year of some highs and lows. For my second full year, the highs far outreached the lows, and I'll take that! For ones that don't know, I was in the construction field doing manual labor... One of my goals this year, was to go full time in photography. In August, through a lot of prayer and talks with my wife, we decided to take the leap. We had our son, Lincoln, coming in September, I figured if I didn't do it now, that I might not ever. I've never looked back. The 4th quarter was the busiest that I ever could dream, with Lincoln coming, and shooting almost half of my 2011 weddings, timing was perfect. I could have never kept up! I've been blessed with the best couples that have invited me into their lives and have allowed me to share my vision with the biggest day of their life. I'm so excited about what 2012 is going to bring, the people that I'll get to know, and stories that I'll get to document and share. I have some big goals for this next year, (and I don't normally make goals) personally and as an artist. I cannot wait! Thank you to my wife, Ashley, for putting up with me this crazy year, I absolutely could do NONE of this without you and your support. Thanks to Alisha for our relationship and what you mean to me, this business would not be where it's at without you! And last, but most important, thanks to the One that gives me the strength, without Him, I would be nothing!

When I first met Elizabeth and Justin at our consultation, we talked a little about what they might have in mind for the engagement session. I could tell they loved my work, buy the suggestion for the session... Justin's family own a local shrimping company and they had a dock and a few boats... I knew that I was going to fall in love with this couple... just take a look at the photos, you can see what I mean!
